The Coney Island Boardwalk has a whole different persona in the early autumn morning. It is a tranquil place filled with runners, walkers, bikers, and people watchers. If the beach and boardwalk were always this tranquil I would definitely come and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach like I used to in Florida. Unfortunately, during the warm months the beach and boardwalk are crawling with people. There are so many people on the beach it is hard to find the sand. The boardwalk it so crowded it is hard to walk. It is so loud you can't hear the water. This is not what I go to the beach for. I guess I can only enjoy the boardwalk in the off season.
